SLOVO ZA SLOVO

This poetry-musical project has no analogues. It was created by poet Roman Sulima and composer Roman Matchin at the end of 2014. For the first two years of its existence, the project resulted in three albums, four video clips and more than a dozen live performances. Initially, two bass players and a drummer accompanied the poem reader. The music pattern in the project determines the pace and presentation of the poem itself – so the composition can be both subtle lyrics and hard punk rock. Subsequently, the project reincarnated in Slovo Za Slovo 2.0, where the rude guys were replaced by three girls: a vinyl scratch DJ, a VJ and a go-go dancer. But the core of the project remains the same – Poetry. Today, this genre is defined as Poetry Fusion and anyone can find a role in it.
